Our last wine dinner of 2024 was with St. Supéry Vineyards, and we had so much fun! Elizabeth Parenteau, from St. Supéry, was so informative. She was gracious and warm, and did and excellent job showing us how special St. Supéry is.

We've carried St. Supéry for nearly the entire time that we've owned Six Tables, and it has quickly become an everyday favorite of ours. Their Sauvignon Blanc is clean and crisp, without being overly acidic or fruity. And Their Merlot is rich and smooth, with notes of chocolate and black fruit.

We also tried some new varietals from St. Supéry! They own a winery in Porquerolles, France; which is a little island off the coast of France. Domaine de L'ile produces a lovely Rose, and we paired it with a Smoked Salmon Tartine Salad. The berry & citrus notes in the rose really complemented the Smoked Salmon as well as the Herbed Goat Cheese & bright Pickled Red Onions in the Salad.

Tom paired their Rutherford Merlot with a sumptuous Rack of Venison. The Blackberry Glace that he made really mirrored the rich berry notes of the Merlot! He also made a deliciously tender Roast Tenderloin of Beef from Creekstone Farms with a Madeira Reduction, with Seared Foie Gras & Hasselbeck Potatoes. For a little bit of fun, we actually paired this with two wines. The first was St. Supéry Estate Elu, which is their homage to a Bordeaux Blend; and the second was the St. Supéry Dollarhide Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. Both were excellent accompaniments, and it was a lot of fun to see which wine everyone preferred.

We ended the evening on a sweet note with a Blueberry Mousse Cake and St. Supéry Dollarhide Muscat Canelli. Such a good combination!

We love doing wine dinners, and hope to do several more in 2025! Our next wine dinner will be with Markham Vineyards, on January 25 at 6:30pm.

We'd love to see you there!

The St. Supéry Wine Dinner sounds like a fantastic evening, pairing exquisite wines with carefully crafted dishes. It’s a wonderful way to elevate a dining experience. For restaurants hosting similar events, using a well-designed setup from kyivworkshop can really enhance the atmosphere. Their menu covers and table accessories can add a touch of elegance, ensuring that the event feels as polished and memorable as the food and wine being served.
