Pine Ridge Vineyards Wine Dinner

The idea to feature Pine Ridge Vineyards for a wine dinner was purely coincidental! We were in Napa in August, and had just finished up a wine tasting at another winery. We had a few hours to kill before our dinner reservation at Bistro Jeanty (which, BTW, was Amazing!), and decided to drive over to Pine Ridge and see if they could squeeze us in.

When we arrived, everyone was so warm and accommodating! They ushered us right in, and started bringing out their amazing wines as well as some snacks. It got even better once they discovered that we already carried their wine at our restaurant. After that, they even brought out some FORTIS for us to sample! After such a welcoming experience, we decided to feature them at one of our wine dinners.

Greg Gutierriez, who works directly for Pine Ridge, was our sommelier for the evening. He was warm and personable, and just the perfect embodiment of everything we'd come to expect from this company! He even brought us an awesome champagne sabre from Laguiole, which I'm going to have learn how to use! He spent the entire evening educating us about the different grape varietals, the terroir of Pine Ridge, and their growing practices.

After such a great event, we plan on including more of their wines on our every day wine list.
